Facilities at Will Rogers World Airport (OKC)
Oklahoma's main airport, Will Rogers World Airport provides a number of flights to a wide range of destinations in the United States and Canada. The airport is served by more than 12 airlines and is equipped with facilities for passengers.
ATMs are located on the ticketing level, while those requiring medical care can find a first-aid station located on the same level. The ticketing level also features a nursery and a shoe shine service, while a Skycap porter service can be found outside the terminal.
Many newsagents and gift shops are situated on both concourses, while there are also specialty luggage shops and a CNBC News shop available. To get yourself updated with world events, newspaper vending machines are scattered around the airport.
Hungry tourists can find a variety of eateries on the second floor in the main Departures atrium and on the concourses. You can expect to find several restaurants, cafés and snack bars, while there are also many food vending machines for after-hour snacks.
Three conference rooms and a large VIP room are provided at the airport. Wi-Fi internet can be accessed throughout the building. Many business kiosks feature telephones and photocopying, fax and internet services.
Transportation at Will Rogers World Airport
Several transport options are provided at the airport to take you downtown. The most economical way to reach the city is to use the Oklahoma City Metro Transit that operates into the city centre daily. There are also a few bus operators that run buses to Lawton in Oklahoma and Wichita Falls in Texas from the Transportation Plaza located near the Baggage Claim exit.
Private shuttles are also available for hire. If you wish to take this option, pre-booking is strongly recommended. The shuttle companies include Marriott at the NCED, Metro Express and Airport Express. Optionally, you can also contact your hotel for a free courtesy pick-up.
You can also find plenty of taxis waiting at the Transportation Plaza on the central island. There are many providers operating from the airport to various destinations, with fixed fares.
Parking at Will Rogers World Airport
Many parking options are on offer at the airport, with hourly and daily garages as well as long-term lots situated right outside the terminal. The daily car park has five-stories, with elevators on every level. An underground travelator connects the lower level of the lot to the terminal.
There are two long-term surface car parks for those wishing to park for long periods. These car parks are linked to the terminal by courtesy shuttle buses. Pick-up and drop-off areas are located right in front of Arrivals and Departures.
