A major gateway to the Sarasota and Manatee counties, Sarasota Bradenton International Airport offers both domestic and international flights from its two-level terminal. Located to the northwest of downtown Sarasota, the airport provides easy connections to the city centre and other major areas.
ATMs can be found on the upper and lower levels of the airport, while postal facilities are also available. There is a lost-and-found service and a mother/baby room, among other facilities.
Shopping enthusiasts can find a wide range of shops at the airport including a PGA tour shop, newsagents and a duty-free store in the departures area. Travellers can find a variety of goods on offer in the store including perfumes, cigarettes, alcohol and brand name products - all tax-free.
Throughout the terminal are plenty of food outlets. Passengers can find restaurants, cafés and many snack bars scattered around the airport. The popular ones include the High-Tide Cocktail Lounge and Gourmet Bean.
There is the Student Art Exhibition at the airport, featuring a number of masterpieces by the students from Sarasota and Manatee counties. The exhibition can be found on the first level in the ticketing areas.
Basic conference and business facilities are provided in the terminal. The SRQ Conference Room, located on the ground level of the main concourse, can hold up to 20 people.
Transportation at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport
Two local public bus companies serve the airport and run buses into the city and nearby beaches very frequently. Buses can be found outside the doors at the west end of the Baggage Claim area.
The most popular choice is to ask for a courtesy pick-up from your hotel. Most hotels around the area offer free shuttle transfers from the airport, picking up passengers at the Baggage Claim area.

Parking at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport
Passengers do not have to worry about not finding a space to park their cars as there are almost 1,500 spaces available in short-term and long-term parking lots. Located within a very short walk from the terminal is the short-term parking lot, which gives cars a 10-minute grace period.
The long-term car park is located further away and is connected to the terminal by a shuttle bus. In both car parks, there are designated areas for passengers with disabilities.
