The three terminals: A, B and C are linked together with a free inter-terminal shuttle service. All terminals serve major American airlines. Those wishing to use postal facilities can head to 156 Paris Street for the airport's on-location post office.
Hungry tourists can find various kinds of restaurants in Kansas City Airport. Those wishing to have a quick bite can opt for one of many fast food chains including Burger King and KFC. Caffeine addicts can find their favourite coffee chain, Starbucks, and other coffee shops.
There are several gift shops located throughout all terminals while golf lovers can also shop at PGA tour shop. Duty-free shopping isn't available here as the airport only serves domestic flights.
Business flyers can find self-service business centres located in all terminals. However, the services are quite limited. Laptop access and faxing services are not provided at the airport.
TDD telephones and fully-equipped toilets are available throughout the airport while there are also designated areas at every parking lot for those requiring special assistance.
Transportation at Kansas City Airport
A variety of options to get from the airport to the city centre include direct buses that link the airport to Kansas City for one dollar. Taxis are waiting for their passengers outside the terminals but can be in short supply.
Shuttle bus services are provided from companies like KCI Shuttle and KCI Roadrunner Express, operating to the city centre and other cities in the states of Kansas and Missouri. If you want to opt for a more luxurious and comfortable ride, there are many limousine services from various companies located in front of the terminals.
Parking at Kansas City Airport
There are many parking options offered at the airport. There are short-term, long-term and economy parking lots to choose from. The first 30 minutes in any parking lot is free of charge.
The terminal garages are the most convenient option and conveniently connected to the terminals with walkways. Shuttle buses connect all parking lots to the terminals and are equipped with facilities for passengers with disabilities.
