Facilities at Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF)
A major gateway to Niagara Falls, western New York and southwest Ohio, Buffalo Niagara International Airport serves a great number of flights, both international and domestic. It's one of the busiest airports in the country, catering to more than four million passengers annually.
With only one terminal, the airport is easy to navigate. The terminal boasts full facilities for passengers, including plenty of ATMs, a bureau de change and a comprehensive Business Centre.
The Business Centre can be found on the Upper Level, featuring conference rooms, business equipment and postal facilities. Wireless internet can be accessed throughout the Departures area.
Those needing food can find many fast food outlets and cafés throughout. Children will be delighted to find a large children's play area, while women can spend time at the airport hair salon or visit the on-site art gallery.
Many shops and newsagents are located throughout the terminal building. Gift shops are mainly located on the main Departures Level, with some providing gift wrapping services.

Shuttle bus number 204, operated by Metro Link, provides efficient service from the airport to downtown Buffalo. NFTA-Metro also offers buses to the city and other neighbouring areas. If Niagara is your final destination, take bus number 30, while bus number 68 goes straight to the heart of Buffalo city centre and the city's main Amtrak station.
Major hotels usually offer courtesy shuttle services for their guests, while a number of taxis, mainly provided by the Independent Taxi Association, wait outside the terminal building. Ample parking spaces are provided for passengers, with long and short-term car parks cater to over 5,000 vehicles altogether. Free shuttle buses connect the long-term parking lot with the terminal. The first 30 minutes of parking in the short-term car park are free-of-charge.
Buffalo Niagara International Airport offers the BNIA Express Pass which eliminates the need for parking tickets. Parking fees can be paid via credit card at all parking areas.
There are also two long-term remote parking areas for those wishing to park their car for longer periods. These lots are located farther away, with free shuttle bus services taking passengers to the terminal. Designated parking spaces for disabled passengers are located close to the terminal, as well as a special drop-off area in front of the terminal.
