The airport is large, boasting five terminals (A, B, C, D and E). Terminal A is currently closed for renovation. Domestic flights are mainly operated by Terminal B, while terminals C and E serve international flights and Terminal D serves chartered flights.

Transportation at Boston Logan International Airport

Getting to the airport via the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) subway is easy. Trains operate from Airport Station on the Blue Line to downtown Boston. From the Airport Station, shuttle buses are provided to take you to all terminals.

To travel from the terminals to the Logan Water Shuttle Dock, a free bus service (number 66) leaves the airport every 10 minutes. Water taxis are readily available for further connections.

The MBTA provides buses that connect the airport to neighbouring areas, while taxis wait for passengers 24 hours outside the Arrivals halls. The journey to the city centre takes about 20 minutes by taxi. The airport is well-linked with other destinations including Cape Cod and other areas in Massachusetts.

Boston Logan International Airport features a variety of parking options to suit all passengers. Exit Express is a new service providing a fast lane via which drivers can leave the parking garages with only one swipe of a parking card. Curbside parking is prohibited.
