Facilities at Boise Airport (BOI)

About four miles south of Boise, Boise Airport is easily accessed. The airport serves a number of flights to major cities in the central and western parts of the United States. Featuring one single terminal building with three levels, the airport is easy to navigate.

Level 1 is home to Arrivals, while Departures can be found on Level 2. Level 3 is dedicated to the Conference Centre, which has fully equipped facilities and business equipment.

Level 3 is a haven for business flyers. There are five conference rooms at the renowned Snake River Conference Centre, which is equipped with advanced technology including audio-visual equipment. Postal facilities and FedEx counters are located on Level 2.

Free wireless internet can be accessed throughout the terminal, while an art gallery will make your waiting more pleasurable. A newsagent and two stores offer travel essentials and last-minute shopping.

Many restaurants and cafés are available, while an entertaining sports bar and grill is suitable for those who want to enjoy a relaxing beer or catch up on sports results. As the airport only serves domestic flights, there are no duty-free shops in the terminal.

Transportation at Boise Airport

There are many options travellers can choose from to arrive at the airport. The city's ValleyRide bus service operates between the airport and downtown Boise, while Greyhound and Sun Valley Express serve those coming from other destinations. From the airport, buses leave from the purple curbed area outside Arrivals.

Motorists will find it easy to find the airport. From downtown Boise, the airport is signposted all the way to the terminal. Those coming from east and west of the city can arrive at the airport by I-84.

Private shuttle buses also connect Boise, Eagle and Twin Falls to the airport, while major hotels located nearby usually provide courtesy services to the terminal. Taxis are ready and waiting 24 hours outside the Arrivals area at the terminal.

Parking at Boise Airport

Many parking options are provided at Boise Airport. The short-term surface parking lot is located opposite the terminal building, providing convenient access to the airport. Those wishing to use long-term parking facilities can park in the covered garage or in one of the surface lots situated beyond the covered parking garage.

For quick pick ups and drop offs, there's a designated parking area located outside the Arrivals and Departures levels of the terminal building. The Shuttle Parking Lot is located farther away from the terminal and is ideal for both regular and disabled passengers. Free shuttle buses are provided to take you from the lot to the terminal.

Disabled passengers can also find designated parking close to the terminal building, while special drop-off and pick-up areas are available at the airport entrances on the Departures and Arrivals levels.
