Owned by the City of Albuquerque, Albuquerque International Sunport is situated about four miles southeast of the business district in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The airport mainly provides domestic flights, receiving more than six million passengers per year. Albuquerque International Sunport offers many parking options for both short and long stays. Parking spaces for disabled persons are also provided.
There's only one terminal at the airport, serving all flights. Throughout the terminal are ATMs and a number of fast food outlets and restaurants. Cocktail lounges will please those needing a drink before getting on board, while several retail and book shops can also be found in the terminal.
The airport does not provide conference facilities, but business flyers can travel to the nearby AmeriSuites (tel: +1 505 242 9300) for fully equipped facilities and catering services.
Albuquerque International Sunport offers first-class facilities for passengers who need special assistance. Disabled persons' parking spaces are located near the terminal and there are lifts on every floor, while wheelchair-accessible toilets are also provided. Braille signage and TDD telephones are available for those with hearing disabilities.

Transportation at Albuquerque International Sunport
There are many options to get to the airport. TNM&O, Herrera Coaches and Faust's Transportation provide buses between the city centre and the airport. Passengers can also use the airport shuttle bus services provided by Twin Hearts Express and Gray Line of Albuquerque, which will pick you up and drop you off right in front of the terminal.
Optionally, passengers can pre-book a taxi. Taxis are operated by Albuquerque Cab Company (tel: +1 505 883 4888) and Yellow Cab Company (tel: +1 505 247 8888). Those wishing to drive can follow I-25 south to Sunport boulevard (exit 221). Follow the signs for the airport until you reach the terminal.
Parking at Albuquerque International Sunport
Parking services at the airport are very efficient, offering a 24-hour four-storey car park that provides spaces for 3,400 cars on an hourly basis. The car park is located next to the terminal and is connected to the terminal by a covered walkway. The long-term surface lot offers 500 spaces.
All car parks are monitored by the Aviation Police. Parking fees must be paid upon exit. The airport accepts cash, Master Card, VISA, American Express and Discovery.
